# Live, demo, and mainnet

> Know which network, data source, and token you are using before taking an action.

Spoke exposes several experiences with different purposes. Check the page's environment label before interpreting a balance or transaction.

| **Aurora wallet funding** | Intended mainnet flow into USDC on Monad, chain 143 | Separate wallet funding; currently disabled pending configuration and verification |

## Understand the labels

**Live testnet** means the screen reads the deployed testnet system. It does not mean SDUSD has financial value. The deployment includes scripted demonstration campaigns and transactions; those are not customer revenue.

**Demo** and **Sample** identify illustrative content. A realistic interface, balance, chart, or confirmation in Demo mode does not prove that a live API or blockchain action exists for that feature.

## Keep the tokens separate

| MON on Monad Testnet | Transaction gas | Testnet gas token |
| USDC on Monad Mainnet | Destination asset for the optional Aurora wallet funding flow | A mainnet asset, separate from testnet settlement |
| MON on Monad Mainnet | Gas for subsequent mainnet wallet transactions | A mainnet asset, separate from testnet MON |

The application does not convert a mainnet deposit into a testnet purchase balance. Mainnet funding does not credit your Spoke reward vault, earnings, or SDUSD checkout.

## What to rely on

For settlement, rely on the chain receipt and its verified state. For indexed views, check the displayed indexing freshness.
